Four Ashes Community Group

During the construction of the Staffordshire ERF, we felt it was important to keep the local residents of Four Ashes up to date and informed and a local Community Liaison Group was formed.

The group has now disbanded but should we or they feel the need to restart the group we are ready to answer the call to action and welcome the local community back to Staffordshire ERF.

Community Liaison Group

Staffordshire County Council has emphasised that public involvement with the development of this facility will be of particular importance. Veolia also recognises the importance of working with the local community.

As part of our commitment to building and maintaining good relationships with communities in and around Four Ashes and elsewhere in Staffordshire, we have established a Community Liaison Group that meets on a regular basis.

The first Community Liaison Group met at the end of March 2011.  Click the link below to view the minutes of this meeting:

At this meeting we asked for further applications to join the Community Liaison Group.

The group will meet approximately every three months and will be attended by representatives from Veolia, Staffordshire County Council and neighbouring Parish Councils and also representatives of the local community and businesses. The group will give members the opportunity to discuss information regarding the construction and operation of the Energy Recovery Facility (ERF).
